More About Dev Verma

Hi, I'm Dev—a chill philosopher, aspiring polymath, and a physicist-in-the-making. When I'm not pondering the mysteries of the universe, I'm probably getting absolutely demolished in Catan by my best friend (despite my undeniable strategic genius).
I've finished working my way through a Physics degree at Nanyang Technological University as a Scholar, with a particular fascination for quantum computing, gate decomposition, and whatever lies beyond the Standard Model (dark matter, I'm looking at you). My ultimate goal? To do meaningful work in physics—whether that means helping build the next big thing in quantum tech or unlocking some fundamental truths about the universe.
Beyond physics, I take inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci, striving to explore everything that catches my eye. You might find me unleashing sacrifices on the chessboard, losing myself in stoic philosophy, or storyboarding ideas for a film I'll maybe direct one day.
Richard Feynman once said, "I was born not knowing, and have had only a little time to change that here and there." That pretty much sums up my approach to life—always learning, always exploring, and maybe, just maybe, changing my corner of the world for the better while I'm at it.
Have something to share?
Whether it's about quantum physics, research collaborations, or just a fascinating scientific discussion, I'd love to hear from you.
